Hey guys,
As the Autumn's Leaves community grows I would like for the transition from an unreleased game, to an alpha version as smooth as possible. In this I cannot always be around to help everyone.
Autumn's Leaves needs a Community manager to smooth things out. In order to fulfill this position you will be given an official Autumn's leaves E-mail address, and will be expected to check it on a regular basis. Also you are expected to help everyone possible.
DESCRIPTION:
As a Community Manager (CM), you will provide community support for AL! CM is responsible for addressing player inquiries, disputes, and complaints while also ensuring the overall satisfaction of the community. The CM is the unified voice that the game team presents to the community. The CM should be fair, impartial, authoritative, and understanding so that he/she can maintain order while serving the needs of the community. This person must maintain a high level of service and positive communication with players, staff, and management. This position typically reports to a Producer who oversees the game operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the game community through in-game participation and email.
• Manage the forums, including posting news, sales copy, and announcements, and respond to questions and issues from the community
• Appoint and manage volunteer moderators. Hold weekly meetings to address any issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain the official rules and policies.
• Promote the game by being active in the forums, blogs, and social networking sites and by running events and contests both in the forums and in game.
• Test pre-release patches and games to verify functionality, content, performance, and playability.
• Support the game team by helping them with customer service issues and events when necessary.
• Build relationships with users to foster trust, goodwill, and cooperation.
• Analyze user trends and communicate findings to the game team.
