Collecting and sharing the testimonies of people who provided voluntary service with an organization is also a necessary excellent opportunity to communicate the actions undertaken in favor of the community. Doing so at least allows: Give visibility to the organization and the cause it serves Receive more volunteer support and donations Add other actors who identify themselves in the activities undertaken Stimulate the participation of other people who had not considered providing volunteer service Promote organized citizen participation to throteering (AMVIAC) brought together several people interested in providing volunteer service in the state of Morelos. Thus, representatives of civil organizations from Spain, Hungary, Lithuania, Vietnam, Nepal and Mexico met in Tepoztlán to launch the HAPPY 2.0 project (acronym Help, Absorb, Participation, Promotion and Youth). The food at Villas Xochiquetzal was really delicious. Thank you for letting us try different dishes. They were special and delicious Thank you AMVIAC for taking care of us from arrival to departure. I admire the effort you have made to make this event a great and memorable success. I loved the welcome through the band and cultural dances, the music night by the local tourism department. How can I forget the visit and the view of the Tepoztlán pyramid and the mountain? I felt lucky to take part in the mask-making activity of a local artist. Beatrice Baldi, Spain, HAPPY project coordinator: I believe that volunteering can change lives. He can't always change lives other than those of the volunteers (this depends on many, many factors), but he surely has great potential. This thought is clearly shared by many people, but this time few of them, coming from different countries (even different continents, actually), have come together and planned a big project, which will hopefully change many lives through volunteering. Five donkeyociand better understand the world around them, while supporting others in their everyday battles and challenges. As young people who will participate in our European Voluntary Service projects and the training course for youth workers and volunteers, we went to the meeting with one form and came back with another. While working together, the group of representatives got to know each other, and the people behind the organization's name. That's where cooperation and intercultural understanding begins. Trying to establish a dynamic that supports our participants, we exchange ideas and points of view, share beautiful walks and tasty meals together. We etter, others want to have a positive impact, others want to gain experience and knowledge, learn and share. Also volunteering is a great way to gain valuable work-related skills and experience, build new skills and networks, meet lots of new people and challenge yourself. As a Lithuanian Platform of NGDOs (Non-Governmental Development Organizations), we have been working on local and global volunteering for more than 10 years and we have volunteers here and everywhere! During the chronology of the HAPPY 2.0 project, young people will participate in various community-based actions and the most important part – will address real communication needs, trying to have a positive impact on cooperation.
